The thirteenth season of American talent show competition series America's Got Talent was broadcast on NBC from May 29 to September 19, 2018. There were no major changes to the program during the season; the guest judges for this season's Judge Cuts episodes were Ken Jeong, Olivia Munn, Martina McBride, and Chris Hardwick.

Season 13 of America's Got Talent premiered on May 29, 2018. The entire judging panel from Season 12 returned, as well as the host.
Dunkin' Donuts continued to be the official beverage sponsor of this season, having its products shown throughout the show and their cups on the judges' desks.
Season 13 Auditions
Each act that performed in front of the judges was given 90 seconds to demonstrate their talents for the four judges. If an act received at least three "Yes" votes from the judges, they were accepted to the next round. Otherwise, they were eliminated from the competition.
Season 13 Judge Cuts
72 acts were pulled from the 100+ acts that were accepted by the judges in the Auditions. The Judge Cuts took place over four days; every day, 18 acts performed with only 7 moving on to the Quarterfinals.
Joining the main judging panel were four guest judges. While each regular judge was given a normal buzzer, each guest had only a Golden Buzzer which he or she could press to send an act to the live shows without further deliberation as one of the 7 acts.
Two acts were eliminated in the Judge Cuts but later brought back to the competition in the Quarterfinals.
- Courtney Hadwin. The 14-year-old singer was Howie Mandel’s golden buzzer pick after she performed Otis Redding’s “Hard to Handle” during her audition.
- Brian King Joseph. From Los Angeles, Brian King Joseph is a violinist who shatters expectations with his covers. His repertoire on the reality show so far has included Fall Out Boy‘s “Centuries” and Kanye West‘s “Heartless.”
- Michael Ketterer. Simon Cowell is the 40-year-old singer’s number one fan. The judge used his coveted golden buzzer on Ketterer and even asked Garth Brooks to write the contestant a song after his performance of Miley Cyrus’ “When I Look at You” at the semifinals.
- Shin Lim. A 26-year-old magician from Acton, Massachusetts, Lim specializes in close-up tricks and regularly wows the judges who sit at his table. One of his go-to moves is rising smoke from a deck of cards and then vanishing it all.
