Phoenix Wilder is a 13 year old American boy living in foster care in Texas since the death of both of his parents in an automobile accident. His existence is an unhappy one, as he is not well treated by his foster family.
This movie is about a lost orphan boy who meets up with an elephant, and the two of them challenge the African elephant poachers together. This is a great movie for raising awareness about the elephant poaching crisis, which to me is quite tragic, I wish we could stop it.
