Andy Devonshire. Does the prolonged success of Taskmaster speak to a sadistic streak in TV viewers, inasmuch as we so enjoy seeing comedians suffer through the challenges? I prefer to think the viewers enjoy seeing the comedians being themselves, acting without a script and behaving a bit more like them than they usually do.
