Distraught after a recent breakup with his girlfriend, aspiring painter Páll (Ingvar E. Sigurðsson) spirals into a deep depression. As his behavior grows increasingly erratic, Páll's parents, who can no longer tolerate his violent outbursts, institutionalize him.
