Anita, Lady May (born 29 April 1949), known as Anita Dobson, [1] is an English actress, and singer. She is best known for her role from 1985 to 1988 as Angie Watts in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. In 1986, she reached number four in the UK Singles Chart with "Anyone Can Fall in Love", a song based on the theme music of EastEnders.
Anita Dobson is a British actress who starred in EastEnders, Red Dwarf and other TV shows. She also sang the theme song of EastEnders and married Queen guitarist Brian May in 2000.

Childhood & Early Life. Anita Dobson was born on April 29, 1949, in Stepney, London, United Kingdom, to Alfred William Dobson and Amy Amelia Dobson. She grew up in London with her younger sister Gillian Dobson. She joined the ‘Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art’ in 1970 and started studying performing arts, such as acting and music.
