Saint Anna of Kashin (Russian: Святая благоверная великая княгиня - инокиня Анна Кашинская) (unknown - 2 October 1368) was a Russian princess from the Rurik Dynasty, who was canonized in 1650.
Early life. Anna was born in Moscow as the daughter of Tsar Ivan V by his wife Praskovia Saltykova.Ivan V was co-ruler of Russia along with his younger half-brother Peter the Great, but he was mentally disabled and incapable of administering the country, and Peter effectively ruled alone.
In 1294 Mikhail married Princess Anna of Rostov, daughter of Dimitry of Rostov. They had five children: Prince Dmitry of Tver (1299–1326) Prince Alexander of Tver (1301–1339) Prince Konstantin of Tver (1306–1346) Prince Vasily of Kashin (d. after 1368) Feodora of Tver
