Sep 02, 2016 · Antibirth isn't much of a horror movie, even if it has some decent early creep. It's more of the "independent" genre: high weirdness, with a plot that plays second or third fiddle to its characters. But there is a bit of gross-out thrown in, maybe just for fun.

Psychedelic horror film "Antibirth" is a tough sell for even some of the most diehard genre fans. Stylistically, the film is equally unsettling and evocative: gorgeous cinematography, disorienting editing and frequent use of double exposures bring to mind the films of David Lynch, Rob Zombie, Ben Wheatley, Bill Lustig and Damon Packard.

Mar 17, 2017 · The movie doesn't really have an ending either - somewhat of a major flaw. The audience is definitely people who would enjoy Troma, Henenlotter, Stuart Gordon, Shaw Brother's horror movies and early Peter Jackson. Could have been even more crazy!

Oct 05, 2020 · Antibirth is a strange little movie with an unusual vibe not necessarily accessible for all-comers. Some will despise it and I can dig that, but there’s far more than Kwik-E-Mart charm in its favor.
