  4. *SPOILERS* I was pleasantly surprised to see a movie that started as a botched kidnapping and ended as an exploration of how child abuse affects lives and how the family that looks so perfect is often the most screwed up. The acting was good, and the plot kept you guessing. For the most part,the pacing was fine.
