A young couple becomes inadvertently entangled in a kidnapping. When they rescue the child to return him to his influential and powerful father, they discover he has been physically abused. Suddenly, they are on the run with the young boy.
*SPOILERS* I was pleasantly surprised to see a movie that started as a botched kidnapping and ended as an exploration of how child abuse affects lives and how the family that looks so perfect is often the most screwed up. The acting was good, and the plot kept you guessing. For the most part,the pacing was fine.
