   • Apharan is based on the 70s era with the feeling of nostalgia and great suspense and mystery. The story follows a cop 'Rudra' who was falsely accused and ends up in jail for 3 years. The plot is all about the mystery of the murder of a kidnapped girl. Season 2 revolves around Rudra navigating his professional duties with his personal life at stake.

   Why did I never watch Apharan?

   • I heard good things about Apharan when it first came out in 2018 but somehow I never managed to watch the series. Probably, one of the reasons for that was because it was on “Alt Balaji”. No matter how well it was received, somehow I never held the content of “Alt Balaji” to the highest levels and drove past most of it.
