As of December 2023, it has 1,222,890 articles, 2,514,477 registered users and 53,133 files and it is the 17th largest edition of Wikipedia by article count, and ranks 8th in terms of depth among Wikipedias.
Arabic usually refers to Standard Arabic, which Western linguists divide into Classical Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic. It could also refer to any of a variety of regional vernacular Arabic dialects , which are not necessarily mutually intelligible.
