Ardell Sheridan-Castellano was the wife of Richard S. Castellano, who portrayed Peter Clemenza. She played Signora Clemenza in The Godfather.
For The Godfather Part II, Castellano refused to appear unless Sheridan was allowed to edit his lines for him, among other disagreements. Coppola refused, and the character was killed off and replaced with Frank Pentangeli.
