Armen Vardani Sarkissian (Armenian: Արմեն Վարդանի Սարգսյան;) (born 23 June 1953) is an Armenian politician, physicist, investor, businessman, and computer scientist who served as the 4th president of Armenia from 2018 to 2022. He also served as Prime Minister of Armenia from 1996 to 1997.
On March 2, 2018, Armen Sarkissian was elected President of the Republic of Armenia by the National Assembly of the RA. The inauguration of the President-elect took place on April 9, 2018. He submitted his resignation on January 23, 2022.
