Breitmeyer was assisted by Adolf Hitler"s personal photographer Heinrich Hoffmann in the venture. The first volume was printed in 1934 by the publishing house of the German Sports Aid Funds.

You conclusion however rises a few questions … Arnold ("Arno") Breitmeyer is commonly mentioned with a death-date of April 20th, 1944 - however he seems to have been alive (and further more not on the Eastern front) as late as August 1944 (Der Arbeitsmann, 12.8.1944, p. 4), so what do you have on his death?
