19/20 September 1486 - 2 April 1502. Arthur Tudor, Prince of Wales was the firstborn child of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York and the elder brother of the formidable Henry VIII. Arthur was born prematurely, after an eight months pregnancy, at Winchester on 19/20 September 1486.

Arthur, Prince of Wales (1486–1502), was the eldest son of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York and the elder brother of Henry VIII. At the age of 15 he was married to Catherine of Aragon and set up court at Ludlow. Five months later he was dead of consumption and buried in Worcester cathedral.
