Arthur Hornblow, Jr. was an American film producer responsible for numerous top Hollywood movies and who was married to actress Myrna Loy. He numbered amongst his friends many famous playwrights and novelists, and his name was the inspiration behind his friend C.S. Forrester's greatest literary creation, Captain Horatio Hornblower.
