Mar 21, 2024 · Unlike some of the other towns on the northern Oregon Coast that feel more sanitized, like Seaside and Cannon Beach, Astoria has done a good job of retaining the character and, for lack of a better term, grittiness (and to be clear, we mean that in the best possible way) that has made it an important piece of Oregon history.
