A runaway freight train is heading for Denver with a cargo of atomic devices on board, including a nuclear bomb. The train must be stopped and derailment is not on the agenda. Train wreck expert John Seger (Rob Lowe) must defuse the bomb in order to stop a nuclear holocaust.
