Gerald Edward Levert (July 13, 1966 – November 10, 2006) was an American singer-songwriter and producer. Levert was best known for singing with his brother, Sean Levert, and friend Marc Gordon of the R&B vocal group, LeVert. Levert was also a member of LSG, a supergroup comprising Keith Sweat, Johnny Gill, and himself.
The original group was comprised of Marc Gordon, Gerald and Sean Levert. The trio hit popular mainstay through urban radio delivering a string of HOT records such as “I Get Hot”, “Bloodline”, “The Big Throwdown”, “Just Coolin”, “Rope a Dope Style”, For Real Tho” and “Whole Scenario”.
