Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever is a 2002 film that stars Antonio Banderas as Jeremiah Ecks, an FBI agent who retired after the death of his wife seven years ago, that, for reasons unexplained by the film, is recruited by FBI Head Julio Martin (Miguel Sandoval) to find the DIA director's recently kidnapped son who is believed to have been taken by seemingly rogue DIA agent Sever ().
