Batman: Gotham Knight is a 2008 animated direct-to-DVD anthology film of six animated short films set in-between the events of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Each short, or segments, are written by Josh Olson, David S. Goyer, Brian Azzarello, Greg Rucka, Jordan Goldberg and Alan Burnett.
It was made available in DVD and Blu-Ray formats. The movie was intended to fit into Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight film trilogy between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, though Bruce is shown to be still living in Wayne Manor, which was destroyed by Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins .
