   • For those who are unfamiliar. Ventnor City Beach In an Island, This is called Absecon Island includes ( from North to South) Atlantic City, Ventnor City, Margate and Longport. One must cross a bridge to get to any of these beach communities. All are completely surrounded by water with the Ocean to the East and the bay to the West.

   • Ventnor City offers handicap locations for ramp access to the beach. Beach mats are located at Suffolk, Dorset, Newport, Derby, Oxford and Somerset Avenue beaches. Surf Chairs are available daily through Beach Patrol from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 609-823-7948 for reservations.
