What an endlessly inventive movie this is! Charlie Kaufman, the writer of "Being John Malkovich," supplies a stream of dazzling inventions, twists and wicked paradoxes. I completely agree. My favorite movie of all time is Synecdoche New York so I thought I would really like all of Kaufman's works. I went into it thinking I would love Being John Malkovich but it really just didn't connect with me and at parts, I felt more uncomfortable than anything. A lot of the sex scenes felt very rapey to me.
