Bernhard IV, Lord of Lippe ( c. 1230 in Brake – June 1275) was a ruling Lord of Lippe . Life. He was the eldest son of Bernard III and his wife, Sofie of Cuijck -Arnsberg. In 1254, he took up grovenment of Rheda and in 1265, he succeeded his father as ruler of Lippe. His brother Herman III inherited the city of Lippstadt .

Bernard IV: Son. 1265 - 1273: Herman III: Brother. Lord of Lippstadt. 1267 - 1269: Bernard takes part in the Battle of Zülpich alongside his uncle, Bishop Simon I of Paderborn. Their opponent, the duke of Jülich, captures Simon, and Bernard has to pay a large ransom to secure his release in 1269.
Bernard VII, Lord of Lippe. Bernard VII of Lippe (4 December 1428 – 2 April 1511) was the ruler of the Lordship of Lippe from 1429 until his death. Because of the many bloody feuds in which he was involved, he was nicknamed "the Bellicose". He is the longest-ever ruling European monarch.

Bernard II (German: Bernhard II. Herr zur Lippe; c. 1140 – 30 April 1224) was Lord of Lippe from 1167 until 1196. He founded the towns of Lippstadt and Lemgo. Marriage and children. In 1167, Bernard married Heilwig (1150–1196), likely the daughter of Otto, Count of Are-Hochstaden. They had eleven children who survived into adulthood. Five sons:
