Stephen Bernard "Bernie" Petterson (born 1967) is a storyboard artist and director in the animation industry. He has been active within it since 1990. On The Mighty B!, Petterson storyboarded the episode "Toot Toot."
Born in Portland, Oregon, Petterson attended the California Institute of the Arts where he studied character animation. He started working on video games in 1991, as an animator and artist for games based off of Spider-Man and The Busy World of Richard Scarry.
During the late 1990s, he contributed to Oh Yeah! Cartoons and by the 2000s worked on ChalkZone and My Life as a Teenage Robot. At Disney, Petterson wrote for The Replacements, Phineas and Ferb and Mickey Mouse. For his work on Phineas and Ferb, he received two Emmy Award nominations in 2012 and 2016.
