Beth Mowins. Elizabeth Mowins is an ESPN, CBS, and Marquee Sports Network play-by-play announcer and sports journalist. She usually calls women's college sports, and in 2005, she became ESPN's second female announcer for nationally televised college football games. In 2017, she began doing play-by-play for NFL games.
