William Rankin (born 25 April 1959 in Lennoxtown, Stirlingshire,Scotland) is a Scottish guitarist and rock musician active in the 1980s and 1990s. Best known for his work with Nazareth (1980–83 & 1990–94), he also had a successful solo career, including a US hit single "Baby Come Back".

William Hector Rankin III (born 1951) is an English rock drummer, active in the 1960s and 1970s. He joined Kippington Lodge in 1968 and remained with them when they evolved into Brinsley Schwarz in 1969.
