Three strangers living in the same building -- shy, introverted Claudia (Amber Tamblyn), ladies' man Tommy (Armie Hammer) and doctor Karl (Aidan Gillen) -- wind up stuck in a malfunctioning elevator. Claudia is desperate to get out and back to the hospital to be near her dying grandmother, while Tommy wants to hit the beach with his girlfriend.
