Nov 16, 2020 · British music producer and activist Ed Accura has announced a sequel to his wave-making documentary “A Film Called Blacks Can’t Swim, scheduled for release in May 2021.
The story follows Layla and K-Frost, two black youths from a south London council estate who take part in a community program designed to help give young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds a better opportunities in life.
Apr 24, 2022 · Available to download digitally from 10 May, the sequel follows on from Accura’s first film, ‘Black’s Can’t Swim’, which dove into reasons why 95% of black adults and 80% of black children in England do not swim.
