Water. Alton Baker is located right on the banks of the Willamette River, and there are several boat launch areas. Combined with the free parking this can be a great place to start your fishing trip, or float on the river. In addition to the boat launches, there is also a manmade canoe canal running through the park.

Get Directions. This large park is managed by the Eugene Parks and Open Space Division. The park has multiple amenties and is popular because of its proximity to the river, downtown Eugene, bike paths, and walking trails. There is a main parking lot and a small canoe/kayak launch site on the upriver end of the property, constructed in 2004.

There is also an 18-hole disc golf course (12 holes during special events). Easy access to the Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path System with a 12-mile (19-km) path. Fish for trout, salmon, steelhead and bass. Two boat ramps allow for canoe, kayak, SUP, and boating on the Willamette River Water Trail. Wheelchair accessible.
