    Robert William "Bobby" Gaylor Jr. (born December 10) is an American writer, comedian, and actor. For Phineas and Ferb, he voiced Buford Van Stomm and wrote several episodes. Besides his work for Disney, he is known for his album Fuzzatonic Scream.

    Gaylor was born in Boston. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in stand-up comedy and television writing, landing a job in Roseanne in the mid-1990s. After a friend of his told him about their depressed state, Gaylor became inspired to write a song that could speak to others with similar thoughts, which he titled "Suicide". He partnered with Marc Bonilla to produce Fuzzatronic Scream, an album including many songs tackling serious topics.

    In the 2000s, Gaylor became a story editor and writer for various shows, such as The Bernie Mac Show and Johnny Test. During this period, he achieved recognition for his work in Phineas and Ferb. From 2015 to 2016, he was a regular contributor to The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore.
