Tell us how you came up with adapting the narrative of Last Voyage of the Demeter? I originally wanted to write a horror film set in space.
25 years ago, the world's greatest hero vanished. IMDb. Samaritanis a 2022 American superhero film directed by Julius Avery and written by Bragi F. Schut. Described as a dark, new take on superhero movies, the story was previously adapted into the Mythos Comics graphic novels by Schut, Marc Olivent, and Renzo Podesta.
Bragi Schut is a writer, director and producer who has written projects for Amblin, Amazon, Sony, Netflix, Universal, Paramount, MGM and CBS among other film & television companies. He wrote the original thriller script ESCAPE ROOM for Sony, SAMARITAN, for Amazon Prime and Sylvester Stallone, and THE LAST VOYAGE OF DEMETER for Amblin/Universal.

Aug 11, 2023 · Bragi F. Schut and Zak Olkewicz’s script isn’t loaded with colloquialisms and doesn’t flounder in the territory of folklore. They feed us just enough info about Dracula to pique our interest but keep his origins murky. Bear McCreary’s score is pulsating and heightens the feeling of dread and terror.
