Brantley Lake State Park will be crowded. I would advise getting a reservation NOW. You have to go thru a commercial reservations system which adds to the cost. And they are not very familiar with the site. Only one of the camping sites is close to the water and as it was cold we didn't go swimming. So, I don't know about the water.
