May 6, 2008 · Breakfast with Scot is a bit of formulaic movie making. A gay couple suddenly has a precocious kid dropped into their home. Hilarity and tender moments follow, all ending happily ever after naturally. It is a bit of sparkly fluff. The actor playing the kid is pretty good. The hockey dad is excellent, but the lawyer is a little bit flat.
