Brian Philip Babin (/ ˈ b æ b ɪ n / BAB-in; born March 23, 1948) is an American dentist, politician and member of the Republican Party who has served as the U.S. representative from Texas's 36th congressional district since 2015.
About Brian. Born in Port Arthur and growing up in Beaumont, Congressman Brian Babin is a lifelong resident of East Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Lamar University and completed dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas.

District. I am honored to serve the residents of the 36th Congressional District of Texas. Located in southeast Texas, the 36th District includes Newton, Jasper, Tyler, Polk, Orange, Hardin, Liberty, and Chambers counties, as well as portions of southeastern Harris County.
