1953. Brian Clarke is born in Oldham, Lancashire, at 1:50 a.m. on the 2nd of July. 1965. Clarke is awarded a scholarship and enrols in the Oldham School of Arts and Crafts. 1968. Clarke’s family moves to Burnley where he gains entrance to Burnley College of Art. 1970.
