Bronisław Kaper (1902-1983) was a Polish composer who scored films and musical theater in Germany, France, and the USA. He is best remembered for the jazz standards "On Green Dolphin Street" and "Invitation," and for scoring the MGM film musical 'Lili' (1953) for which he won an Academy Award. Kaper and Walter Jurmann worked as a team in Berlin, then Paris, and later emigrated to the USA.
