Dec 7, 2006 · The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart is a classic, great CD (I purchased the CD). The skits are from a live show in 1960. Apparently, Bob Newhart won a Grammy in 1961 for Best New Artist for this work. Bob Newhart is very funny, with perfect timing. What perhaps I like most about him is that he is funny without having to use vulgar language.

Two weeks later, on that same stage, Newhart recorded the material that would make up his album “The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart.”.
