S1.E1 ∙ Pilot. Ponch and Jon take to their bikes to bust an auto theft ring that employs a clever means of smuggling hot sports cars past the Highway Patrol. Ponch's probation is almost over when he runs into a sticky situation.
Self-styled modern-day knights on motorcycles, the CHiPs patrol California's freeways, keeping the urban arteries of the contemporary world safe. After tracking a gang of sports car thieves, Ponch and Jon earn commendations. Ponch also learns his probation period is over.
