Valve Major Championships, commonly known as Majors, are tournaments sponsored by Valve with a prize pool of $1,250,000 (previously $250,000 and $1,000,000). They were first introduced in 2013 at DreamHack Winter.
The Majors are considered to be the most important and prestigious tournaments in the Counter-Strike scene. The current champions are Natus Vincere, who won their second Major at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, the first to be held in Counter-Strike 2.
