Cardboard Boxer unexpectedly delivers and surpasses my expectations! This film packs real-life struggles that's happening all over the world, which is homelessness. Thomas Haden Church plays as Willie, delivers a down to earth, sentimental performance that brings you so much more closer to the story and makes you truly feel for what's happening.
Cardboard Boxer is an underdog fighter that, despite its considerate and often good performances, often finds its punches pulled. It's a shame, too, because it could've been a knockout.
