The Center for Early Education began as a group for children in a single-family home in the Hancock Park section of Los Angeles in 1939. The original founders of this group, most of whom were professional psychoanalysts, were passionate about respecting the inner world of the child.

Our team teaching model allows for at least two lead teachers per classroom, in addition to associate and specialist teachers.
The Center for Early Education is located on a vibrant, secure, urban campus in the heart of West Hollywood, California. Families stepping onto campus are welcomed into our warm, modern, and inclusive facility. In Spring of 2020, we completed the last phase of a major campus transformation project.

The Elementary School Program at The Center for Early Education begins in kindergarten and continues through sixth grade, with a focus on addressing different learning styles and developing collaborative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The Center's new campus was completed in spring 2020. The comprehensive redevelopment of our 2 1/2 acre urban campus in West Hollywood, California broke ground in fall 2016. Two new school buildings connect to an existing building to create a single 100,000 SF building housing 540 students and 110 faculty and staff.
