Luciano Charles Scorsese (May 8, 1913 – August 23, 1993) was an American film actor. He was the father of filmmaker Martin Scorsese. [1] [2] Biography. Scorsese was born in New York City, the son of Teresa and Francesco Scorsese, Sicilian immigrants from Polizzi Generosa, a small town near Palermo. [3] [4] He married Catherine Cappa in 1933.
Charles Scorsese (1913-1993) was the father of famous filmmaker Martin Scorsese. He appeared in several of his son's movies, such as Goodfellas, Cape Fear and Raging Bull, and also worked as a second unit director and a wardrobe assistant.
