Lambert was born March 29, 1957, in Great Neck, New York, the son of Yolande Agnès Henriette (née de Caritat de Peruzzis; 1928) and Georges Lambert-Lamond (1910–2003), a French diplomat then at the United Nations. His father was a French Jew. Lambert was raised and educated in Geneva from infancy and moved to Paris in his teens.
Though born in Great Neck, Long Island, Christopher Lambert's family left the US when he was only two years old. His father was a United Nations diplomat assigned to Switzerland and, as a result, Chris was educated at private boarding schools in Geneva.
Christopher will be filming "The vatanen's Hare" based on the best seller by Aarto paasilina which he'll be shooting as of May in Montreal. Christopher will be playing in Dalida which is a twice 2 hours mini series about the singer. He will be playing the Count of St.Germain who was Dalida's most important love.
Although born in the USA, Lambert is French. His father was a French diplomat stationed in the US at the United Nations at the time of Lambert's birth. Lambert's formative years were spent in Geneva, Switzerland, to where his family moved when he was two, before returning to Paris when he was 16.
