Mar 18, 2017 · The legendary guitarist and singer-songwriter, who defined rock & roll with his rollicking songs, springy guitar riffs and onstage duck walk, died on Saturday at his home in St. Charles County, Missouri. He was 90 years old and had suffered a bout of pneumonia. Tributes from admirers came from the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and others.
