Clayhill is the setting of the Don't Hug Me I'm Scared pilot episode.

The layout of Clayhill mirrors that of a Cul-de-sac, being a small area with a curved road that loops back around, with a large gate at the front that contains the towns name.

It has (judging by the limited sources currently available) a large rotunda with roughly 10 houses with, in the middle of it, a bell tower with a smiley face in the place of a clock. The known houses are: the puppets' Funny House, Big Ian's house, Mrs Grenald's house and the Mayor's house. Besides these things one place is known namely Alleyways, where Yellow Guy met Milk Jug, and one street name is known "Road Street" that houses the mayor's house and possibly the puppet's house (known from a plaque where the Strangers are creeping on the corner and from a letter flying away from Paula the Postbox during the key's song).

The town has the following residences:

•Red Guy, Yellow Guy and Duck Guy, who live in the Funny House.

    •Big Ian

    •Mrs. Grenald

    •Mayor Pigface

    •Paula the Postbox

Those who live outside of Clayhill:

    •Blue Bird

•The name comes from the creators, Becky Sloan and Joe Pelling, who met while studying at Kingston University, where there is a halls of residence named Clayhill.

•Duck and Paula the Postbox have lived in Clayhill their whole life, or so Duck claims.

•Springhead Boy is the only resident so far to be seen in the TV series, It also has the same design of Shy Imaginary Older Brother.

•According to the GPS in the TV series episode "Transport", Clayhill just "shriveled up".

When asked about why the pilot doesn't appear in the main TV series, the creators stated that they felt the open air environment of the town really hurt the claustrophobic atmosphere that the web series had. This lead to them scrapping the idea of the town all together. Though, some characters and the town's name are referenced in the TV series.
