Cloak & Dagger is a 1984 American spy adventure film directed by Richard Franklin, and starring Henry Thomas, Dabney Coleman, and Michael Murphy. It was written by Tom Holland and based on a Cornell Woolrich short story, "The Boy Cried Murder", which had been filmed as The Window (1949).
Cloak and Dagger are teenagers who were injected with synthetic heroin that gave them the twin superpowers of light and darkforce control. Dagger can create daggers of light and use her power to heal, while Cloak can teleport and turn intangible through the darkforce.
Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen are Cloak and Dagger, crime-fighting team and Light and Darkness incarnate. These partners once lived on the outskirts – as runaway teens they embraced vigilantism after their powers activated through experimental drugs.
