The College of William and Mary was the first college to have a full faculty, a fraternity, an honor system, and a law school. Thomas Jefferson and John Marshall were among the students of the first law professor, George Wythe. Other students of the College included James Monroe and John Tyler.

US History bristling with students. Apr 2022. The College of William and Mary is fascinating to stroll through, especially the Wren building. There are lots of great places to sit and read. Or, spread out a blanket in the Sunken Garden & catch some VA rays. William and Mary food is notoriously bad.
