Dec 14, 2006 · I thought the collection of Doris Day's early recordings with the Les Brown Orchestra was just great. I'm listening to it even as I write this review, and just loving the music.! Doris Day was such a talented lady and such a "class-act" that it is so wonderful to have her 1940's recordings to listen to.

Jan 3, 2007 · This is a great collection of early Les Brown classics featuring Doris Day as his lead singer. They were recorded from 1940 when Doris at 18 years of age was already a big band regular (having previously sung for the Bob Crosby band since age 16) until she left Les Brown in 1947 to become a movie star.
