Jan 24, 2003 · A movie based on the autobiography of Chuck Barris, the creator of "The Dating Game" and "The Gong Show", who claimed to be a CIA assassin. Roger Ebert praises George Clooney's directorial debut and Sam Rockwell's performance, but questions the truth of Barris' story.
Synopsis. The movie is created with excerpts from Chuck's private journals, public records and taped interviews.
