And there are many information tables around describing its history from the time when it was built in 12 century as well as great exhibition at the visitor centre.

  4. Mar 6, 2016 · Conisbrough castle is a great place to visit to spend a good couple of hours exploring. There is free car parking below the castle, just off low road which is always a bonus. It is then a 2 minute walk up towards the castle where you enter a small gate way to the english heritage ticket office where there is also a shop and small museum.
